JUDGEMENT CALL

Well, a little birdie (that would be my conscience) informed me that I probably should not speak my mind so freely about things when I am still an active part of the things I was speaking about. That is why you will find my "series" posts have been deleted. Clear as mud? ;-)

For those that were following though, I wont leave you hanging. All ended well...

SINGING IN THE...SHOWER

I still can't get the video to load. I will have to take a new one. In the meantime, here's a picture of him in the shower singing his little heart out.

A SAD NIGHT INDEED

Sometimes when I am really overwhelmed with studying, I will start my procrastination routine. This involves getting up and walking around the house for no reason, walking into Will's office to see what he is doing, going to get another bottle of water even though I already have one on my desk, etc.

Today is one of those days. So, I know some of you have been asking for more Willis videos and I thought I would upload a video of him talking and singing in the shower. Welllll, it will NOT upload. I have tried everything. It is very cute and you will love it once/if I can get it to upload.

But, since I still am in a procrastinating mood, I decided to share this picture with you. It looks lovely doesn't it?

Friday night, I was tired. Come to think of it, when am I not tired these days? But anyway, it was one of those nights where I wanted to sit in my recliner and not move a muscle. I had been up since 4:30am because I had clinicals that day. I wasn't having dinner with Will because his work gave him a surprise going away party and he ate there.

Well, around 9'ish, I started getting a terrible headache. I get migraines when I don't eat. You'd think I would learn by now that this fact about myself is not going to change. The migraine rolled in, and I told Will that I needed to eat. He volunteered to heat up a frozen pasta dinner that we had in the freezer. We never have any food in this house anymore because we both stay so busy we wait until we have nothing at all left before one of us finally breaks down and goes to the store.

The frozen dinner sounded good to me. I was not only paralyzed from pure fatigue, I was now in agony with a migraine. I knew it would go away with food. I have different triggers such as certain chemicals, certain types of chocolate, stress…but this one was from not eating and I knew it.

Side note--For 15 years, Will and I have eaten our meals off of TV trays. We've had the same trays for 15 years in fact. We call them our antiques.

Anyway, back to the story. I was sitting in my recliner with my eyes closed and half dead. Will set the TV tray up for me and put the plate on the tray. I don't understand what happened next. I really don't.

For some reason, the bottom of my recliner flew up as if I had pulled the handle to recline back. It hit the tray, the tray collapsed, and there sat my plate of food underneath it. Will stared at me and I stared back at him for about 30 seconds in pure shock. I could not believe my migraine reliever was now on the floor. I seriously considered eating it anyway. If you've ever had a migraine, you can understand my reasoning behind this. You'll do anything to make it go away.

So what did I end up eating for dinner? How long did it take us to clean this mess up? How did I get my migraine to go away? I think I'll save the answers to these questions for another procrastination period. Right now I need to get back to studying.

Actually, before I start studying I am going to walk around the house and see if I can find where I left that new bag of mini-Cadbury chocolate eggs and I should probably get some more water too….just in case.

CONGRATULATIONS WILL!

Wanted to give those of you that know Will a quick update about him. He is leaving the newspaper after 5 years of employment.

As of March 9th, he will be working for CUTigers.com. He will be their Senior Writer. It is a subscription based website that is all about Clemson sports….his favorite subject!

It was a hard decision, but we discussed it, thought about it, prayed about it, and feel that the right decision was made. Please wish him well as he begins his new job!
