THIS AND THAT

Hello, hello. Things have just been moving along here in SC. Work, work, work. Sleep, sleep, sleep. Will and I rarely have moments when we are in the house at the same time. However, we aren't complaining. We are thankful for our jobs.

The weather has vastly improved and, as a result, so has my mood! Being without sunshine for so long is just not healthy!

One of my newest obsessions is with fashion jewelery. LOL! I have the best time shopping for CLEARANCE items. I'm sorry, but this cheap girl can not spend a lot of money on such things. I just can't do it. See the necklace below? It originally sold for $68. $68!!! I mean, you have seriously got to be kidding me! No way, Jose! Guess how much I paid for it? Go ahead, guess! Ok, I'll tell you, and yes I am very proud. $19.99! :D

The cousin recently stopped by on his way through SC. We didn't get to visit with him long, but we were glad we got to see him. He loves when his pictures are published publicly, so I figured I would add a few here. I made Dwayne and Will go outside to take these and they were both thrilled beyond belief!

Not much else has been going on. I am enjoying my job. I still get nervous and I still have tons to learn, but I am on my way! How do you like my fancy lunch bag?

HELLO SUNSHINE!

Yesterday was a great day! The weather was perfect. Will and I headed to Easley around 10:30 to have our taxes done. We always put it off until the last minute. Afterwards, we got lunch at Pizza Hut. They were having a $5 buffet and our favorite server, Cynthia, waited on us. She has been our server for about 5 years now. When she sees us pull up, she puts Will's favorite pizza in the oven and then serves him from it before putting it on the buffet. He is spoiled.

Once we were home, I grabbed a book that one of my friends at work loaned me, and headed outside. The book is by Stephen King. I normally don't read him, but this book was highly recommended. It's called Lisey's Story. It was a complex read and I greatly enjoyed it. I don't like predictable books, or movies for that matter. This book was definitely not predictable.

I am working tonight and the next two. I feel very blessed to have a job in today's economic climate!
